This is THE track which was voted NUMBER 1 by the Crichton Clan and the song I am most proud of!!

At the beginning of 2018 I buried myself away writing songs, and every week I did a rough video demo, and emailed it to the Crichton Clan. At the end of my 90 day goals, we had a vote as to which of the songs would end up on this EP, and The Small Things was the most-voted-for song!

When I started out as a musician, I was told to never write songs about being a mum, or having kids, or spending time as a family. 'Ohhh no-one will ever wanna buy that stuff' .... oh yeah??? Well, I beg to differ 😎.

I wrote The Small Things on a day where everything around me was going wrong. We had builders in our home, it was noisy, dirty, we were up at all hours of the night trying to get the kids to sleep, then during the day there was no let-up either. But that's life right?? And we should be grateful for every small thing that comes our way, because life is for living, life is awesome, and if we blink, we'll miss it.
